Nilaveli is a long, serene beach on Sri Lanka’s northeast coast, celebrated for its pristine white sands, clear turquoise waters, and proximity to Pigeon Island National Park, one of the island’s best snorkelling and diving destinations. The beach retains a refreshing character, making it one of the most peaceful and unspoilt stretches of coastline on the island. Nilaveli is best visited from May to September during the east coast dry season.
