Land at Tokyo’s international airport and meet your guide for a smooth hotel transfer. Check in and take the evening to acclimatise to Japan’s capital, perhaps a first walk through a nearby neighbourhood, a bowl of ramen at a local noodle bar, or a quiet moment beside the illuminated Tokyo skyline.

Tokyo City Highlights

Begin your Tokyo exploration with a stroll around the Imperial Palace East Gardens, home to Japan’s reigning imperial family. Walk along the scenic Chidorigafuchi moat, famous for its cherry blossom canopy in spring, before enjoying a boat ride on the water. End the afternoon at Shinagawa Aquarium exploring vibrant marine life.

Tokyo Cultural & Modern Sights

Hakone & Mount Fuji

Journey to Hakone for Japan’s most iconic view: Mount Fuji perfectly reflected in the still waters of Lake Ashi. Enjoy a scenic lake cruise and a ropeway ascent of Mount Komagatake for sweeping volcanic mountain panoramas. If the skies are clear, Fuji’s snow-capped summit presides majestically over the entire valley landscape.

Tokyo to Kyoto by Bullet Train

Transfer to the train station and board the legendary Shinkansen bullet train, racing southwest to Kyoto at up to 320 km/h through the Japanese countryside. Arrive in Japan’s cultural capital and check into your hotel. The evening is perfect for a first walk through the lantern-lit lanes of the Gion district.

Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Kinkaku-ji & Nijo Castle

Immerse yourself in Kyoto’s beauty. Walk the ethereal Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, its towering stalks creating a cathedral of green. Osaka & Dotonbori

Travel from Kyoto to vibrant, food-obsessed Osaka. Check in to your hotel, then head straight to the legendary Dotonbori district, a dazzling canal-side street ablaze with giant neon signs, street food vendors, and the irresistible aromas of takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and freshly grilled skewers. Osaka’s famous culinary scene awaits you.

Osaka Castle & Fushimi Inari Shrine

Visit the Osaka Castle, whose gleaming white tenshu keep rises above stunning gardens and moats that once repelled samurai armies. Continue to the Fushimi Inari Shrine, where thousands of vermilion torii gates climb the forested hillside in an endless tunnel. A photographer’s paradise and one of Japan’s most iconic sights.

Osaka Shopping Day

A full free day to explore Osaka at your own pace. Spend the morning browsing Shinsaibashi’s covered shopping arcade, then discover the street-food paradise of Namba and the international fashion brands of Umeda. Pick up Japanese cosmetics, snacks, electronics, and ceramics. Osaka is one of Japan’s finest retail destinations.

Departure

After a final Japanese breakfast, your guide transfers you to Osaka International Airport for your departure flight. You leave Japan with memories of ancient temples, high-speed trains, futuristic cities, serene bamboo groves, and the hospitality of a country that has offered you tradition and tomorrow in equal measure.
